Come with me as I take you on a tour of an Asian supermarket in Northwest Houston, Texas. Northwest Houston has a very active Asian community that includes great restaurants, shops & food markets. You'll see a wide array of fresh seafood, exotic fruits/foods, seaweed and more! One of my favorite foods is tofu. Packed in liquid & refrigerated, tofu can be used for many dishes including savory & sweet. Cut the tofu into cubes and cook with tomato sauce, cubed pork & bean sprouts to make a healthy & protein packed meal! Add any spices you wish. Since tofu doesn't have any flavor, you can add as much or as little seasoning as you like. Soft tofu can be blended with crushed ice, strawberries, bananas & honey for a healthy protein shake! Enjoy!
