Zillow seems to be having a "favourite blog" contest, and I have voters!!

I'm currently a little behind, as the favourite has 40%, and poor li'l ole me has 1% of the vote... (I'm stunned to have 1%).

Feel free to click on the link and stuff the ballot box (you can vote once every 24 hours). you may have to reduce your view, as the voting mechanism is "touchy"... scroll way down and the box you see on the left, will be waaaaaay down to the right.  When you click on it a window will come up allowing you to vote, but if you haven't "reduced" your view, you might not be able to click the "vote" button.

My campaign is simple.  If elected, I promise to do nothing different than I'm doing now.  I promise not to have a swelled head (well, I can't promise that with Mr. Realtor Knowledgey... his head arrived swollen.)

I promise to continue to be irreverant, and hand out what I consider to be some of the best real estate advice, for the modern world ANYwhere!

I am currently the ONLY ACTIVE RAIN BLOG, in Chicago, nominated!

so it is true Chicago voting?  'Vote early and vote often'??  I will go back.  This has to be special for Chicago, right?  Everywhere else, one vote per person is the norm.

You're quite welcome and obviously given the support from so many, very deserving of being in the contest.

It is fun, and hopefully you'll do well in spite of the oversight on Zillow's part not to include you in the first place. It seems they're a little strict on the boundary issue, but I'm glad they saw fit to include you after they found my email in the junk.

I dunno, but there's got to be some justice in emails of mine being in the junk. lol

Rockin' - Photos and profile information only show up if you've joined Active Rain (which you can do for free), and the photo doesn't show up 'till you've gotten past 10,000 points.

You have to join as a Rainmaker (I think that's $29.00/month) for your posts to be "outside" posts and crawlable by Google's spiders (gee, I hope I s'plained that right)... but you don't have to pay just to blog.  And honestly, I think your blogs would be well received here... you should try the free membership, and see what happens... you'd be past 10,000 points in a nanosecond... let me know if you want me to send you an invitation (if you join under my invite, then I get 10% of your points - you still get your full points... I just get a 10% spiff!)...

Alan, thanks for the info. I can get 7 Shiner Bocks at the Continental Club for $29.00 (not including tips). Looking at your point total, you don't need the measly points you would get off my probable very, very, infrequent posting on this site anyway.
