I hope you are all having a great end of the summer. Today, Saturday, it was a BEAUTIFUL sunny day in Vail. I went hiking w my dog to one of my favorite trails: "Spraddle Creek" in Vail- just for fun here are some pics I took on my phone while walking on the trail.
Back to real estate, I promised all of my readers that I was going to keep all of you updated with the latest Vail Valley Real Estate statistics. As I mentioned on earlier postings, one of the most well known title companies in the Valley, "Land Title Guarantee Company" publishes these numbers on a weekly basis on the local newspaper "Vail Daily". I am quoting these reports. Real Estate Statistics Breakdown: June Part II The total sales volume in June was $332,660,200, the highest sales volume for any month in 2007. June had 286 total real estate transactions. June had an average sales price of $1,361,440 for all sales. J
une had 102 single family home transactions for a total dollar volume $122,955,900 and an average sales price of $958,741. June had 18 vacant land transactions for a total dollar volume of $5,882,600 and an average sales proce of $362,811. June transactions in Eagle county break down as follows: 33% under $500,000; 36% %501,001 to $1 million; 11% $1,000,001 to $1,500,001; 10% $1,500,001 to $2 million; 10% over $2 million. Eight homes sold for over $4 million each. The largest sale in the month of June was $13.5 million located in Beaver Creek's Strawberry Park. Beaver Creek accounted for approximately 22% of the county's dollar volume with over $72 million. In the first six months of this year there have been 51 sales over $4 million. There are currently 89 properties listed in the MLS at over $4 million. There are currently 93 properties listed in the MLS at under $400,000.
