If you live in Richmond, VA, or in the surrounding areas, don't miss the Watermelon Festival this weekend in Carytown. This started off as a small festival and has grown into one of the premier events of the summer here in Richmond, VA. Last year, well over 100,000 people came out.
There is lots of entertainment, great food and family fun. There will also be over 80 bands playing if you like live music.
