Joe Ferrara died on August 3, 2010. Joe was 55 years old.

Joe along with with Rudy Bachraty started Sellsius Real Estate Blog in 2006. My sympathy to Joe's Family and Rudy. What a loss! What a loss for our industry.
BlogTour USA was a national event in 2007. Joe and Rudy drove an RV cross country meeting real estate bloggers, non real estate bloggers and people from sea to shining sea. Promoting blogging, promoting technology, promoting transparency in our industry was what BlogTour USA was about.
Were you able to attend any of the BlogTour USA events in 2007? Did you meet Joe at Inman? Or another real estate event?

Sellsius Real Estate Blog did a lot to promote our industry. Sellsius Real Estate Blog did four posts about the "Top Women Real Estate Bloggers" in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.
In 2007 the post about 12 women real estate bloggers included a lot of ActiveRain bloggers. The "Sellsius Guys" met all 12 of the women that year "in real life." Joe wrote:
"Has real estate blogging reached a plateau? If I had to guess, I’d say maybe. Since last years Top 10 Women Real Estate Blogger award, there has been a tremendous surge in real estate bloggers – both male and female. The ladies have really stepped up to the plate and have been producing outstanding content. Ok, to be fair, the guys have done OK too :) "
Life is short... Joe Ferrara's 2nd to last post on the Sellsius Real Estate Blog was in the humor category, real estate agents, both men and women rate right up there in this ranking.
