Robert, that's exactly what I thought. But a little before I took this shot there was a cloud formation that would have been right at home in a Steven Spielberg film, too.

Jen, I wish this was home, but it's a summer place that my grandparents built on a lake about 60 years ago.

Thanks, Margaret - it was truly spectacular. And it kept changing until there were wisps of pink and gold and gray.

It was one of those where all you could do was soak it up, Kathy. I've seen some great sunsets there, but this was a real winner.

Oh, Pat, you are good for my ego! Actually, I was just plain lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time with a decent camera.

Isn't it perfect for Independence Day, Laura? It really felt as if nature was showing us humans who really invented fireworks.
