Introducing the Active Rain Real Estate Network
"Christianity and Real Estate" Groups first ever:
"Giving to those in need"
- This will be a periodic organized financial (and/or volunteering of time)
giving of ourselves to the poor, needy and downtrodden.
This is a pasting of a comment I made in one of our "family members" posts:
"I am thinking of doing a "State by State Contribution" thing soon......
Once a month or so I will pick a state that has a need...I will BLOG about
which state it is AND ask for Organizations I can get in touch with from
the group "family members or Active Rain associates" I know living
in that state...........I have organized ALL my associations into state by state groups, so I can
just click on them and see who in Active Rain lives in which state..... then
we will see who gets involved after I contact them for feedback about
worthy Organizations that help those in need.- The money collected will go to help the needy and downtrodden in that
state, through the Organization I - or a group of us - pick, based on my
or the groups communications with them......
How does that sound to everyone here....... ?"
I am also wondering if anyone else in the Active Rain Real Estate Network wants to
come and be a part of this work of charity that has blossomed in my heart.
- If you do, just let me know by comment or direct e-mail.
- I will make a special associates list of people willing to help by volunteering
their time or finances. - If you want to volunteer your time at an event in a state we are donating
to, I will give you directions to the Organization or event and also give contact
info so you can communicate directly with the people in that charitable organization. NONE of the MONEY will be touched by ANYONE other than to send it on its
way to the Organization or event that we are donating to (There WILL be
monthly administrative expenses, but that money will go to set up and
keep the account active for the ability to send the donation in the fastest
and most efficient way possible.......I repeat, NO ONE will touch
(translated - "use or spend") the money other than the people who have
given it AND the Organization(s) we give to and the financial company
that keeps the account open and active.
Time is of the essence...... let me know if you want to be involved.
So many people need to know they are cared about.
I know in my life there have been many times I was thankful
there was someone who cared about me when the wind was
blown out of my sails.
We can be part of something wonderful in another persons life.

Helping a person when they are down is just another way to
brighten your OWN day.
It makes you FEEL good...because you are not asking for the
help back from the person(s) you are helping.... but you
get it BACK in other ways...and that is a fact.

doing great things, but I had only so much time to write this
post and time was running out.
