Free, Free, Free - Now - Now - Now - Free  Leads :

1. Free leads if you can afford to buy a local newspaper!  They are called FSBOs!

2. Free leads if you can afford a postage stamp and a phone call!

3. Free leads if you have to ability to WALK AND TALK

#1 - Call FSBOs from the newspaper - get to the bottom line quickly by asking a few qualifying questions and making a Trial Offer.

#2 - Call and write to Expired Listings.

#3 - Ask everyone you see a question; "Excuse me, I am a Real Estate Agent, do you know anyone who would like to sell or buy real estate"?

Go back to the basics!  This stuff works!

Very good point Charles!  I also love Melissa's comment above about the real estate button.  That sounds like a great idea too.

Believe it or not, we are meeting in our office on Thursday evening, and we are "cold calling". Forgive me, where in the newspaper are the FSBO's? PS.  I just bought the FSBO Book......  Thanks for the post.

I like the basics, I have to lose wait :) so I walk neighborhoods knocking on doors introducing myself, and asking the same question "do you know anyone who is talking about buying or selling?" .  I also have a rule, when anyone comes within arms reach of me I automatically introduce myself, give them a card and ask that same question.   Talking to people, knocking on doors, making phone calls, following up and repeating the process - the basics

Great thread!
