The Foxhall subdivision of Silver Spring Md. is located on the east side of Georgia Ave. at the intersection with Hathaway Dr. which is not far north of the Glenmont Subway Station. It is a large community of mature Single family homes, with three or four bedrooms, garage, and off street parking, on over .25 acre lots. Tree lined streets and quiet Cal-de-sacs.
Public transportation is available along Georgia Ave. by Metro bus to take you up to Olney or to downtown Silver Spring. There is a Montgomery County Ride bus route also along Georgia Ave. on.
Adjacent to the community is a Maryland - National Capital Parks and Planning Commission park (Georgian Forest Park) with lighted tennis courts, basket ball courts, baseball diamond with home and away benches, and a Tot-Lot.
A check today (8/19/2007) on the Montgomery County School locator web page has the community using the Georgian Forest Elementary School, the Middle School Magnet Consortium which is Argyle, Loiederman, or Parkland middle schools, and the Downcounty High School Consortium which is Blair, Einstein, Kennedy, Northwood, or Wheaton high schools.
