Homeschoolers- Parents- Grandparents- please call your local Senator today and ask him to sponsor S.R. 519. 

In fact, even if you are not a homeschooler but are a parent or a grandparent please call your local Senator today to sponsor S.R. 519. 

This is a resolution in opposition to the United Nations Convention on the Rights Of The Child. 

The target number of signers is 34 co-sponsors.

The U.N. Convention of the Rights of the Chlld  MUST NOT be ratified. 

The CRC which is the acronym for the U.N. Treaty- the rights of the child- is a very dangerous law that will trump all state rights and become the law of the land. This is furthering the dismantling of our individual liberties especially if you are a parent. I can tell you horror stories of this law being applied in other countries already. 

S.R. 519 sends a message to the Senate that the Senate does not have enough votes to ratify CRC. 

The treaty needs 67 Senators, to reject the treaty it only takes 34. 

We must protect the American family and U.S. sovereignty. 

The people who want this treaty to be ratified are becoming very vocal and spreading propaganda and discounting the severity of this treaty. They claim they have 60 Senators who support the treaty and that 13 are undecided.  

Overwhelmingly Americans want to protect the rights of the parents to raise their children without state and most definitely without the United Nations counsel telling you what you can and can not do with your own children. 

Please tell your Senator that is he or she signs the Resolution in opposition they won't have to defend their position. They won't have to be involved with a floor debate. None of the usual events need to happen. We just need 34 names, that is all. 

All your Senator has to do is contact Senator Jim DeMint from South Carolina and ask him to add your Senator as a cosponsor.
