For those of you wanting flights to the far extremes of the north west continental US, there will be a direct flight to Bellingham, WA (http://www.bellingham.org/) beginning on October 27, 2007, from Williams Gateway Airport (http://www.flywga.org/). Allegiant Air (http://www.allegiantair.com/) will be the carrier to this city. According to Lynn Kusy, Williams Gateway Airport Authority executive director, the flights to this area will provide direct access to Vancouver, B.C. and Seattle, Washington. What a great avenue for travel directly into Mesa, AZ where many folks from that area vacation in the winter months. This could provide for a very easy process for many road travelers that visit the east valley cities and allow for more time to visit our great state and what we have to offer.

Flights will be offered on round trips for Wednesdays and Saturdays. One-way tickets are reported to be around $80 and you can make reservations at http://www.allegiantair.com/ or through the reservations center at (702) 505-8888.

What a great service for our area.
