It must be the heat that is keeping some buyers at home and not looking at the abundance of great houses for sale at ridiculously low prices in Raleigh and the rest of the Triangle cities and towns. If you are capable of buying a home to live in or buying one as an investment, exactly what are you waiting for??  Insterest rates are the lowest that they have ever been and our market is full of homes for sale that are below market pricing on foreclosures, short sales, and other highly motivated sellers.  Sales are good, but they should be breaking records.  We have 2-3 years of backed up demand to satisfy and yet...people are still waiting...and waiting...for what?

Don't be the buyer that's been looking and looking and looking and suddenly be the buyer that says, "Honey, we waited too long and now we can't afford what we could have bought a month ago."  If the rates jump up 1/2 to 3/4%, your buying power will go down significantly.  Buy now and save big!

Urgency is needed most of the time...I think so many feel that they have many choices....problem is that the "good" deals don't last so the laggers get the leftovers!!!
