Chris & Stephanie,
My previous home was new construction. Only thing that needed painting was the inside of the garage. (Heck, that is where most of us enter & exit, so it matters!) Much to Chip's befuddlement, I insisted on French Lieutenant's Gray. It was fabulous and we wanted to use it in other rooms too! The buyer of that place also commented on it.
Excellent Post ..I like the after..thank you
Great post! Thanks.
I can be adventurous with color because my house is not for sale! And I agree with you about gray. I've seen some beautiful rooms with gray walls lately.
All- thanks for your comments. I have always been partial to the tans and warm colors but once I painted the bedroom a gray color and my guest bedroom a light gray... I love it and now want to move that type of color into the rest of my house.
Irene- was wondering what brand paint you used for the lieutanant's gray?
You are so right...color can be addictive! I just love the jewel tones also. The rich colors make you feel good just being around them. Good post and I really like your format as well.
C&S - Given the time lapse, can't be sure. Probably used Ralph Lauren paintbut I may have "cheaped out" for the garage with Behr matched to an RL color. Used to have a decorative painting business and those 2 brands are about all I'll touch!
