LOAD, READY, FIRE! at Fort Fisher

Fort Fisher is holding it's "Load, Ready, Fire" program this Saturday August 7, 2010.

There will be costumed staff and volunteers giving tours and describing Civil War Artillery and telling stories about the soldiers who used them. They will be firing the 12lb bronze Napolean cannon at 11:45am & 3:45pm. Tours will begin at 11am and 3pm. Regular tours are held hourly from 9am - 4pm. Visit their site for more info.

Fort Fisher State Historic Site is located at 1610 Fort Fisher Boulevard Kure Beach, NC 28449.
