Community

Envision a 2400-acre community with approximately 36% of the community in natural or man made open space nestled against the boundary of the Tonto National Forest with miles of footpaths, hiking trails and bike paths. That's Las Sendas, "The Paths," with its abundance of desert wildlife, quail, cactus wren, lush vegetations and century-old saguaros. View the ever changing textures and colors of the earth and sky as seasons pass in this beautiful Sonoran Desert foothills location. Celebrating the Community of Nature and Manhas been, and will continue to be, the vision guiding the master development of Las Sendas. From the selection of the community name to the creation of its land plan, everything about this award-wining Las Sendas community is inviting and unique as it's been named one of the top five communities in the United States for 1997, 1998 and 1999 by the National Association of Home Builders Sales and Marketing Council.

Environment

An average elevation of over 1,800 feet contributes to an ideal climate, cleaner, cooler air and spectacular views of the valley below. To preserve, protect and enhance the natural beauty of the Sonoran Desert, Las Sendas' architectural planning, site selection and construction techniques are designed to minimize the visual impact of structures while maximizing harmony with the environment. Incoporating low reflective tile roofs and utilizing materials, colors and forms consistent with the natural desert, Las Sendas' design elements go beyond the expected. All landscaping, including drought-tolerant trees, shrubs and ground cover, is indigenous to or has been approved for the native desert climate. In order to further protect the natural balance of desert plant life, a detailed native plant relocation program has been created. According to this plan, as the development of Las Sendas progresses, thousands of mature trees, cacti and plants will be salvaged from the construction areas and relocated within the community's common areas. Las Sendas' homesites are arranged in residential neighborhood enclaves with many homesites planned to back up to natural open space, city light views, golf course or mountain views.

Las Sendas offers a casual lifestyle and a comprehensive recreational facilities with programs unlike any other community.

Championship Golf

Las Sendas' Public 18-hole Championship Golf Course, designed by the renowned Robert Trent Jones II, integrates the natural landscape and offers a world-class yet challenging and playable golf experience. The pro shop is located in the clubhouse with its indoor/outdoor lounge - offering spectacular views of the valley below.
