Prescott, Arizona is holding the "Prescott Film Festival" this weekend August 6-8...this festival will take Prescott's Ponderosa Pines by storm.

Elks Opera House
Mile High Middle School
Yavapai College
The films start at 9am at these various location.
Official Selections for the 2010 Festival are complete! There are some fabulous films coming to Prescott and so far 19 filmmakers are scheduled to appear! So get ready for a glamorous opening night party at a beautiful historic building in downtown Prescott. After the party, our first special event, the Opening Night Film will screen a few steps away in the newly remodeled Elks Opera House . Films will screen Friday, Saturday and Sunday at various downtown locations. There will be innovative comedy, daring drama, thought provoking documentaries and a slate of Native American Films. The second Special Event Film is Blood Into Wine, with a special wine tasting event before the screening. Also two local Prescott Filmmakers will be screening their wonderful short films for the hometown crowd! Some great workshops will be hosted by the Hotel Marriott Residence Inn on August 6th! Screenwriting, Producing, and Acting/Directing will be the topic!
