"Hot August Nights" in Reno is an annual car show with participants from all over the country and allMustang types of cars.  Our favorites are the Mustangs, because we are a family of Mustang owners.  My first car was a 1973 Mustang, my daughter's first car is a 2008 Mustang and my brother and sister-in-law both own Mustangs.

"Hot August Nights" has something for everyone... but this video was made especially for those of you who love Mustangs, like we do.  Enjoy!

I love muscle car shows, and I'm married to a man who grew up in Detroit street-racing GTOs.  So of course, GTOs are my favorite!

We usually attend Hot August Nights, also. This is the first year in a long time we didn't drive up. My honey is still working on his 48 Chevy Coupe. It should be painted and ready to roll for next years event!

I still wish I had my first love. A 1964-1/2 cherry red Mustang. Needless to say, I pulled the straight 6 out and installed a 260 I pulled from a Comet. Much to the chagrin of my day, that babe would fly. Thanks for the trip down memory lane...

Hi Kathie, there is talk that the event is being moved to Long Beach, California next year.  Would love to see the 48 Chevy Coupe!  ~ Susan

Who didn't love a GTO in the 60's? And yes, the Mustangs were nice too.

Sachse just had their car show last weekend.  Couldn't get in the parking lot and it was hot but people came out in droves.  I'll have to send this to all my mustang loving friends

Susan, There must be a car show around here somewhere, but we're seeing tons of restored cars from the 30s cruising the interstate.  Haven't seen ZZ Top step out of one yet!

I used to have a 67 mustang and I loved it. It was a 6 cyl but I didn't mind. Mustangs have a unique character that make them so memorable to their owners.

Oh how I love that Mustang with the flames.  When I was 18 years old, I bought a 1955 Chevy convertible.  My dad made me take it back, because he said the $745.00 I paid for it was too much in 1962.  Finally, in 1985, I had a really good real estate year, and went down and bought a new fully loaded red Mustang convertible, with 5.0 engine.  I had "Suzy" for the next 15 years, until she developed a computer problem the car tech couldn't diagnose.  I literally bawled when I traded her in on a new car. . .I loved her so!

Hello - I was never much of a Mustang fan.  But, those sure are nice.  Thanks for sharing with us.
