November is really 2007.

Wow it's already November.  Seems like this year just flew on by in a flash.  The real estate year is pretty much over and most new escrows opened after the mid of this month wont be a paycheck till 2007.

Not sure about you but 2006 was very different.  Buyers and Sellers have changed with the market.  The interest rates are still great but prices in many different areas are mostly doing the same thing either leveling or even seeing a downward trend.  What does 2007 have in stored for us?  Only time will tell.

I would love to hear what your thoughts might be and what's expected in your area.

PS.  Happy November!

I feel the same way about 2006.  Especially since mid-2006.  I have a lot of Buyers now which I feel is good in a market that's favoring them but I am now showing more properties to the same client and taking a lot longer putting them into escrow.  I wonder if it's my closing skills.  That's something I have to really look into.  Real estate will always be here but like Angela just said, only the strong and smart ones will survive.  - Aloha

I still want at least 2 more closings in 2006, but yeah I agree we're really working for 2007 money now...

I've had a good 2006... I expect that the market will slow in 2007, but that good agents will do well... The challenge I see is that there are going to be a lot of desperate newer weaker agents trying all kinds of things...

What do you think?

It seems like most of my buyers are bottom fishing, if it isn't the best priced in the subdivision or complex, they're not buying.  Like Kengo said, sometimes I think I need to work on my closing skills.  Aloha

Karen, yes I agree 100%  I'm starting to pay more attention in making that close.  Before you didn't need to, the market closed itself.  Great point!

I know Mike. Where does the time go. With our busy lifestyle I guess time just passes us by. "Stop and smell the roses" is a good quote right about now. Judy, where's vacation. Take me too!!!
