Yes, of course you can!  On my website and dozens of other sites, there are staging tips to help the seller who wants to stage their own home.

However, many sellers don't have time to stage their home or don't feel confident about their staging ideas and methods.

Don't let this stop you from Home Staging.  You will find that Home Staging is becoming big business.   And why is that?  Because it works.

If you aren't sure about whether your home needs to be staged, set up a consultation with a Home Stager.  A good stager will come to your home and be honest with you.  For instance, if I am doing a consultation and don't see anything that concerns me I will tell the client what they are doing right and may give them a few tips.  That's it.

However, if I do a consultation and the home needs extensive help, I'll provide the owner with all my observations and suggestions on what action to take.  It is then up to the client to decide if they want to do the staging themselves or hire me to stage their home for them.

A good Home Stager is just like any other service provider.  The good ones (and there are tons of us) are honest, helpful and value their clients.  Listen to what advice they have to offer and take action either on your own or by hiring the stager.

well said. I would hope if anything people will get an honest opinion of their home interior so to help better facilitate a potential sale.  I have seen the benefits of a well staged home
