Cherokee County has finally released their new land plan. This will outline development for the next 20 years. Green Space is located in the Dark Green areas. Yellow is the suburban growth areas and neighborhood living. The purples are the urban core which will consist of high density housing such as apartments, condos, and subdivisions. I will be forwarding this to my developer clients. Zoning in Cherokee County has become more and more difficult to obtain in recent years. The County has effectivley curbed the growth somewhat. This plan is a great map for the future of this county. I like how they have incorporated a greenbelt through the center of the county that will always be protected. This map will also secure a positive
