Oh boy, great advice for those attending. I was laughing, my girls went to Woodstock for the 30th anniversary. They lost the car, got sick from the sun, I had to drive up in the middle of the night to get them. What a fiasco. They should have watched this, LOL.

Hi Al and Peggy - On the weekend of August 20 to 22, 2010, there are actually TWO different jazz festivals TWO miles apart.  One on Main Street Unionville and the other on Main Street Markham.  Your link to the Markham jazz festival is the one occurring on Main Street Unionville.  Interestingly, the one on Main Street Markham is also occurring in other parts of Markham including a different portion of Main Street Unionville.

How is that for confusion???

SPF 400? LOL. I can heartily vouch for taking more cash than you think you'll need. It's kind of like remodeling your home: Devise a budget and then double it!

Since I'm a pianist, I haven't been to many outdoor music festivals. However, I did get to see the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl many years ago. Probably the highlight of my concert-going experience.
