It's Corn On The Cob Season In Ontario, Canada
! Their sweet, their full, they are one of the best accompaniments to any meal or just plain great on their own. We are talking about that sweet and delicious corn on the cob. But sometimes, that sweet corn on the cob can be just a little bit cheeky, as we found out here.

Thanks Dagny, ya know, after posting this we had this craving for popcorn...

LOL Already there Dennis, already there!

It was a cutie right Dawn

William you can't beat that sweet corn.....have you ever eaten it raw? True test of its sweetness.

You have to end the day with a smile Cindy to start the next one happy!

Liz & Bill we thought it was.

Are you ready to switch your banana outfits for something more corny Anna?

And don't forget yummy Mara!

So you were at the park in the rain Marc? Love popcorn any way it comes!

Hide the corn then Michael!! Better warn the farmers to get harvesting or to call Orville Redenbockker!

Yes Ed the words of the answer were quite different, had to 'picnik' to corn's response!!

Ahhhh, fresh corn on the cob, one of my favorite summer foods, especially that sweet white corn......no wonder there hasn't been any around here, with the heat its been popping before it can be picked.

I had grilled corn on the cob at the U.S. Open Sandcastle Competition this past Sunday. It's always excellent, a reason in and of itself to go to the cultural vents where food vendors are out selling their great food.

If you didn't 'pop' yesterday Valerie, you will today!!

LOL, good point Mike! This corn we have been getting from the Farmers Market, doesn't even need to be cooked, it is that sweet!

It has been exeptional Chris, especially the corn from the Orillia Farmers market, it has been awesome!

This past weekend was a Greek festival in the Danforth area of Toronto, lots of good eats there, Russel. Grilled corn mmm, haven't got the cooking of this on the grill down pat yet.

I think that your picture has pretty much summed up how I feel every time I've set foot outside for the past week.  Thanks for the giggle.

Aww, how cute! Just picked and ate the very first ear from the garden last week. It was very good! Ever have a trash can dinner? Corn is the main ingredient! Cooked over an open fire....

Can you really make popcorn on the cob? It seems like it would be less messy.
