Early this evening, I was showing a house when my client noticed a bunch of butterflies in the field next door.  And rats!  My camera was sitting on the front seat of the car!

No problemo.  I was holding my I-Phone (as always) and snapped several shots.  This was my favorite.

And I have to say, I was amazed when I downloaded the photos.  This is not a bad little camera - and it's an old I-Phone.

What a great picture your camera took of the butterfly.  I have never used the camera on my phone, I might give it a try.

Pat,

I have been amazed as well with the pictures I have taken with my iphone....some of my best shots are with that phone.  When I was heading over to Portland I too some pictures while the hubby was driving right out the window....in one you can actually read the some writing on the road...

When I downloaded the butterfly shots, I found some more that I took on my trip.  I also have a fairly new Lumix with a nice wide angle lens and all sorts of great settings.  While this I-Phone doesn't have a zoom lens or the ability to do short videos (maybe I could do videos with an app download) the picture quality is close to the Lumix.

Patricia, Amazing photo and amazing quality coming from a phone. The technology we have today allows us to capture these moments … quickly.

The quality of photos coming out of the latest I-Phones and certain other brands of cells, are amazing.  My daughter has a Droid, with 8 megapixel camera, that shoots astonishing photos as welll.  Technology - there is no end to the capabilities of it all!  This is really a gorgeous photo, Pat!

This is a great shot.  It's nice to have a camera in your cell phone.  That way, you're never without a camera.  Lord knows we'll never leave home, intentionally, without our cell phones.
