Market Report for Homes for Sale in Murrieta, CA - Copper Canyon
As of 6-2012, there are 11 homes for sale, 19 pending and 11 sold in May 2012.
PRIOR REPORT:
There are 19 homes for sale in the Copper Canyon neighborhoods surrounding Cole Canyon Elementary, with 14 pending sale and 7 sold in the month of October 2011. Below is a chart showing this, and comparing the August 2010 chart, as well as pictures of the Copper Canyon neighborhoods of homes, Cole Canyon Elementary school, and Copper Canyon park.

Since August of 2010, the market for homes for sale in Copper Canyon neighborhood of Murrieta has held pretty steady. Take a look at my report of that time frame:
Copper Canyon is the neighborhood to the north and west of the Ralphs shopping center at Washington Avenue and Calle De Oso Oro in Murrieta, CA. It is also to the south and east of the main Bear Creek gated community entrance. Commuters will find it is about 5 minutes to the Clinton Keith onramp of the 15 freeway, or about the same to the Cal Oaks-Kalmia onramp to the south, also on the 15 freeway. This puts it about 10 minutes from Murrieta's Wal-Mart, Target and a little more to Sam's Club.
Newer tracts were built later, to the east toward Washington Ave. The Copper Canyon homes are lovely homes on quiet streets, built from 1998 through 2001 in the areas more westerly and near to the elementary school, Cole Canyon Elementary.
The elementary school in Copper Canyon is Cole Canyon Elementary, which ranks 10 on California's scale of 1 to 10. Learn more about Cole Canyon elementary at greatschools.org. Of course, Murrieta schools all state that attendance there is subject to availability, so try to register as soon as possible. They do try their best to keep local students local. The middle school these homes attend, space available, is Thompson Middle School, and the high school is the wonderful Murrieta Valley High School which is ranked 9 on California's scale.
There are parks and walking trails in Copper Canyon, as well as a wonderful park with several skinned baseball fields and nice fencing for them, and even quite a lot of open grass area for flag football teams and soccer teams to meet. The Copper Canyon park also has a children's jungle gym and restroom facilities.
