Liquid Sunshine Afternoon

The time was 4pm.  Beautiful sunny afternoon and temp was 93.  No thunder.  No Lightning.   But I look up from my desk & out the window and it is raining.  Not sprinkling....really raining!   I grabbed the camera and thought it would be a great shot of LIQUID SUNSHINE.   It had to have been a super Rainbow moment somewhere.

I shot these photos hoping that the bright sun would show the rain drops.  

It's so true for FLORIDA WEATHER....just wait 30 seconds and the weather will change!  

It rained hard for a good 3 minutes in full sunshine.

Hi Christine!  Love those photos and you're right--every time I'm in FL, the rains come and leave as quickly as they came--sunshine and all!  Look forward to seeing you in Orlando!

I really need to start carrying my camera with me at all times. These photos are gorgeous!  And here in Tidewater VA, we get the same weather patterns. As they say "If you don't like the weather, wait five minutes, it will change."

NH has had several of these flash flood rains lately but it has been a very dry summer...  Wish the rains would be slow ans seeping...  my driveway is almost gone...
