- Review the home inspection addendum; make sure you have not
missed out any repairs as agreed. If anything pending inform all parties
ahead of time.
- Collect and make copies of all the invoices paid for any repairs or work during the selling of your home period.
- Check for smoke alarms, appliances, light bulbs, door
bells, and all the items that convey with the property. They have to be
in normal working condition.
- Run the water to ensure hot water is still ON and no plumbing leaks under the sink.
- Leave your utilities ON for a day or so more just incase the settlement has to be delayed.
- Walk around the yard and make sure nothing is out of place like a missing plant or a broken fence board.
- Check all the cabinets no personal belongings are left behind.
- Remember home has to be conveyed in broom clean condition so take all the debris (trash) out of the home.
- If you are not going to be present at closing leave all the keys/garage openers/any manuals/warranty paper in kitchen where buyer can easily spot it.
