The Leed certified contractor and green architecture seem repetitive of the design/build directory which was setup to list all green contractors and architects commercial or residential.  Is this directory supposed to be to show off projects?

Lynda - we're in the process.....if you know have information about any of these, please include them (even posts you have written).

Jenn - we are looking for resources all over, not just localized - the idea is to compile a list for the consumer to find.

Eric - I totally agree, I would imagine that it is to show off projects (as you stated), maybe janeAnne can clear it up.  She thought my architectural background would be helpful.

Its confusing to me to have multiple directories with the same things in it. I was my intent when I setup the Design/ build directory that it was for Commercial and Residential. Most of the people list have LEED back grounds with there businesses. If your directory is going to be a dirctory of green/ Leed Certified projects then it should list residential project too.

Eric - an e-mail was sent to all of us and this was stated there - we should be brainstorming about this privately.

Jenn - thanks for that - I actually think that every green resource we get, we can certainly use.  It will be a matter of organizing all the links in correct categories.

Ines - I am a member of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) and we're having a Nationally known speaker do education locally in October in Clearwater that I'll be attending - I'm very interested in this and doing more like Susie - love the idea and will be looking to do one myself. Great idea as usual.  

The University of Miami recently held a GREEN BUILDING SYMPOSIUM that was very successful.
