Shorty Is Going To Have A Cow...

I finally did it. I took Stephen's bed apart. It's gorgeous but it has to go. They wont stop using it to access drawing on the ceiling (LOL). Did I mention my kids like to climb the furniture? I think I did... They do you know. I am now on the hunt for low beds, a replacement Nikon, foot lockers to replace a chest of drawers (another fave spot to perch on) and a stain resistant rug... I have two hours before I have to fetch my kids.

Hmm...

I wonder how much furniture I can give away (and/or throw out) in two hours... Shorty is going to have a cow when he gets home.

Does grinning about this make me a bad mommy blogger?

Why do I suddenly feel so deliciously naughty? (LMAO) ;-)

Sadly, they will always find something to climb on. I was a climber and would end up atop the refrigerator, the rickety TV cart/TV, whatever. The good news is that I grew up to be someone who really doesn't enjoy heights anymore! Good luck with your climbers!

Hi Carolyn~ I can understand why you had to take it down. No sense in making it easy for them to write or draw on the ceilings! The change will be hard on them, but easier for you! No more dealing with added art on the ceilings! You know what is best, that is why you are the mom! Don't be surprised if they find some other way to continue doing what they are used to doing....those boys are very resourceful!
