According to RealtyTrac, The company's quarterly foreclosure report shows that 318,355 properties entered some stage of foreclosure nationwide, this is a 17 percent increase from just a few months earlier. What does this means?  Basically, that one in every 363 homes was in some stage of foreclosure.  The leading states for foreclosures are: Colorado, Nevada, and Florida which have the highest foreclosure rates, then Georgia, Michigan, Texas, Indiana, Utah, Ohio and Illinois.  The states that are leading the nation as far as foreclosures are concern are: Florida and California , followed by Texas, Michigan and Ohio.
