Hello lovelies! Whatcha doing? We are making a real estate video...
The shorties are in digital heaven playing with my software while I sit there going, "huh?" "duh?" and "what the??? Noooooooooooo!!!" (LOL)
The boys have paused to take a brief cartoon break which means I can stop suffering from social media withdrawal long enough to actually read my e-mail and write a blog post or two answering some of your questions. :-)
Are you ready? Cool... Let's answer some e-mail:
Am I really taking three weeks off to play with my kids and visit my elders? Absolutely. I love my quirky family. I have to show up at least once or twice a year. Did you know my clients see me more than my mother? Seriously... I am really starting to think that is just soooooo not right. :-)
Am I really not taking on new clients until mid-September? Yes. It's true. I am on vacation... Got a house-sitter and everything. :-)
I thought you said vacation was starting on Friday (last day of school). You haven't called me back. Why? Maybe because your caller ID blocked your phone number and the one you left in your e-mails doesn't take private calls soooooo... BTW, check your in-box lately??? When you deal with multiple Realtors YOU are the one who gets confused, not singular me. I wrote you two digital notes you didn't respond to. Oh well... Just sayin'... :-)
Your voice mail box is full again... Yes... I know... I've been mad busy working on a very tight schedule with little kids in tow. Sometimes, I do not want to empty it...
Oh no she didn't. Yes, oh yes she did. I don't call everyone back. You think I'm going to lie about that? Why would I? It's true. Not my client not my problem. I am not your real estate shrink just because I'm sometimes wacky on-line and I am not your therapist because you read me and we DM or tweet. If you want to use me as a second opinion for/against/and-or in addition to the person you have hired, leaving your tale of woe on my answering machine about another broker or brokerage house will not usually get a response... Oooooo... wait... I just responded... Oh well... ;-)
Are you going to do another RainCamp video with music and quotes? Yeah... those are fun. I like quoting people and I love RainCamp. Here's a few favorite quotes before I go watch my cartoons:
"When humor goes, there goes civilization." Erma Bombeck
"I am free of all prejudices. I hate everyone equally." W.C. Fields
"A pun is the lowest form of humor -- when you don't think of it first." Oscar Levant
"I can resist everything except temptation." Oscar Wilde
"There's no trick to being a humorist when you have the whole government working for you." Will Rogers
"The ability to quote is a serviceable substitute for wit." Somerset Maugham
"Remember, today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday." Dale Carnegie
"There are things known and there are things unknown, and in between are the doors." Jim Morrison
