Ah, new stuff

I made a trip to Fry's Electronics this morning because two things were on sale that I've wanted for a couple of months now. That, of course, means that Zoey the Cool Cat will be occupied for the next couple of hours. The three boxes were on the bed for no more than ten seconds when she had to check them out, seeming to know from way out in the garage that there were new boxes somewhere in the house. The smell of those new boxes caused her to come a-runnin', tail way up in the air.

Hi Russell.  Too cute, your cats, I love the pics....  I have a sweet 8 year old cat named "Lilly" . She goes from one bed to another to which one is more comfortable. I love her to death.... Hope you enjoy her pic below.

Hi Russel - Isn't it funny how cats know immediately if there is something new or something that doesn't belong?  Then there must be a full investigation before they decide whether they will permit this new thing to stay.  I can see in the second photo that Zoey is sneaking up on the black box, but ready to turn and run it necessary.  Very cute.

Hi, Russel. I have the same "problem!" When I buy something new I sometimes can't throw the box out for several days as it gets "handed down" from the indoor Siamese who have first dibs to the back porch cats who also have to have a shot at it, to the front porch cat who also wants a turn. People driving up might perceive that I'm lazy or sloppy and just tossed a box out the door but it sometimes takes a while for it to lose its allure.

Russell,  Great photos!  Cats are so curious.  My dogs wouldn't bother unless it was food or trash.  I have one little garbage picker that I had to buy a pail with a lid to keep her out.
