Lead Conversion Rates....What do you consider good?

When you have listings, the phone rings. The old saying of: "Those who own the listings, own the market," is a reality.

At our office the phone is ringing because of our REO inventory. The leads are handled through a call center coordinator.

Knowing what your conversion rate is key because you either need to increase your lead flow or your skills converting them into appointments that result in sales. Of course, we work on training and phone skills to improve our agents skills in conversion.

My questions to agents on Active Rain are these:

 

(1) What do you consider a) Average Conversion Rates and b) Good conversion Rates?

(2) What do you consider key to converting leads into prospects and prospects into closed sales?
