To get something you never had means you have to do something you never did.

So you want something NEW in your life:

  • A better shaped or sized body
  • More business
  • A better relationship
  • More recognition & appreciation

A long time ago I dated a garbage man-he was a rich dude. I remember him telling me that he got rich because he was willing to do what no one else was willing to do.  Hmmm, what are you willing to do that most are not willing to do?  I know one thing I have been doing is taking some of the AR webinars. Thumbs up to all of the AR trainers--you are super fantastic and I feel like I am being given some gems!

I love words and one morning while journalling I wrote: it--is time to realize with your REAL eyes.

http://bit.ly/d4HQlGHave you noticed that the fantasy you have in your head about YOU accomplishing something challenging is often very different from the reality of getting it done?

So you have to realize with your REAL eyes when you are in a fantasy (that is usually when you are still just thinking about things or wishing things were different) or when you are in reality.

Realize with your REAL eyes is your wake up call to ACTION.

You've heard: If you always do, what you always did, you will always get, what you always got--right?

AND Who was it that said: doing the same thing over and over, but expecting to get a different result is THE DEFINITION of insanity!!

Did you know that there is more mental illness and insanity in FREE countries than where there is Marshall Law?  YES, learning to Realize with your REAL eyes means you must think for yourself, you must break through old barriers, old habits, and realize that to get something you never had means you have to do something you never did.

So how about commenting on this post by telling me what you realized with your real eyes this week?

And please feel free repost me on your AR, twitter and/or facebook page.

Jane,

I like your play on words....realize with real eyes!  To me, it means that I have to view what it is I want as already being real.  It makes sense!  Believing something is possible is the first step to actualizing it!  Thanks for the motivational words!

Oh my gosh..I love Thelma and Louise!  I realized this week that I can't dream for my agents...I'm a new Broker and try to coach my agents into being the best they can be.  A few strive forward, reaching for their dreams.  A few do little to achieve them.  It really gets to me when I know they can DO it, but I finally realized i can't do it for them.  It was a real bummer when I finally figured it out, but quite freeing for my mind at the same time.  Does that even make sense?  Lol...great thought provoking post.  Loved it!

Thanks for the great post.  I realized this week without an assistant I am an assistant.  I'm really tired of being an assistant & it's holding me back.  I took the plunge, sometimes you just have to trust your real eyes...or the process of growth.

Jane,

Good point.  It's so true that we have a new normal in the world and the old way won't work.

Will have to figure out what my real eye realization was this week... a bit late for deep thought:-)

All the best, Michelle

If only I could get a job as a garbage man at this point! We all have those "robot" trucks that come through the 'hood and pick up the cans with giant claws...(ok, well actually, it'd be my hubbie gettin' the job...) which leads to less men to pay.

They ain't hiring at the BFI 'round here.

Excellent advice, Jane… to stop doing the same things over-and-over if you want a different result. For me, implementing the change often requires simply modifying my current habit into a new habit that gives me the desired result.

The first sentence about getting something you've never had means doing something you've never did really caught my attention.  This week I went on a couple of appointments with customers in an extremely high price point and it wasnt very different than taking customers out in the price point that I'm use to.
