When you can afford it and nobody else is! Seems like the Buyers these days are a lot like bugs just running out of a box.
When is the Best time to buy a home?
Seems like a redundant question we face as Real Estate Professionals. How many times have you been asked this question? "When is the Best time to buy a home" or "Is it a good time to buy a home"
Everyone has a different answer but, most of the time in our profession it is always a good time. There are only a few people who have played the Real Estate Market perfectly and those people usually are not asking you but, telling you it is time to Sell or Buy.
The funniest part is that most of the time when a consumer is asking this question they already have their thoughts set in stone and no matter what you say it will not change.
Five quick questions to ask your perspective Buyer:
- Have you ever purchased a home before? If so, when was it? If not, why not?
- Are you planning on living in your next home for this community or city for the next 10 years?
- Would you rather own a piece of land or an imaginary figure that shows up on your computer screen?
- Do you plan on living in a house for the next 10 years? If so, why pay someone elses mortgage to live where you want to live?
- Do you remember when properties were selling really fast for a lot of money?
Do also remember saying to yourself I wish I had bought a bunch places a couple of years ago! Then on the flip side of that coin hearing or saying I wish I had sold my places back then!
The point is nobody really knows when "the best time is to buy or sell" and everyone wishes they bought when nobody else was.
Well that time seems like it is hear again so let get out and buy something...
