At the begining of this year as I was setting up my business goals, one of them was to create a facebook business page, because as we all know by now that over 80 gazillion people are now using FB as their primary social network site :)
I started by looking at other Agent's sites and found that most were just posting information or listings on their wall and adding some pictures. The other tabs were really useless to the page. So I decided to research a bit to see if I could create a page that would be of more use to someone that came to it.
It became clear that your BP should be similar to your website with MLS search capability, lead capture and access to any of the systems that we pay for to create business. Now I had to find out how to create custom tabs to use in place of all of those useless ones. Once some of the other Agents in my office saw some of the ways you can improve your page, they wanted to learn how to do it themselves. Like everything else, the task itself isn't as difficult as is seems when someone is telling you how to do it. That led me to my maiden voyage into video tutorials. I put together a couple of videos to allow agents in my office to use at a time that fit their schedule. I had some good feedback and thought I would share my video on creating a custom "Contact" tab with anyone who would like to utilize it. You can preview the tab at my FB page Mass Real Estate Hunter

Thanks a million for sharing, Mike! I will certainly be looking for further tutorials by you. You are right when you say it is always easier when someone else shows you how. Adding a tab to my FB page was something I've been putting off learning. I have now successfully added a new tab with ease thanks to you.
