June 2010 Home Sales in Danville

In June, the real estate market in Danville  had increased closed home sales as there were 61 closed single family homes in total in comparison to 40 homes which were closed in May. In Danville, the average sales price in June decreased to $832,500 from $870,000 back in the previous month.  From $35- in May, the average price per square foot has to some extent declined in June to $349.

The
average days on market from 30 days in May has increased to 47 in June for the closed sales. The homes which were closed sold for 96% of their asking price on average. Of the closed sales, 13% were either bank owned properties or short sales, all of which being distressed sales. From 20% back in May, this figure has decreased significantly. Of the 61 homes which were sold, 13 homes which made up 21 % of the sales were priced over $1 million.

In June, the neighborhoods of West Side of Danville, Bettencourt Ranch, and
 Shadow Creek all showed strong activity.
