Services for Real Estate Pros with My Company

For those who have Blackberry's, iphone's, and PDA's can you honestly say it helps your Real Estate business or any business for that matter?

How much does it help your business?

Should we all acquire a fancy phone device?

Lokahi,

Prior to using a PDA I thought that I was well organized.  Now that I have a PDA I don't know how I got along without one.  I stay organized by using the calendar and task features.  I can check my email at anytime.  I can use it as a navigation system.  I also use it as my key to open lockboxes.  Another indirect benefit is that clients are impressed by my use of technology.  Can I honestly say it has helped my business, yes it has.  My clients love my response time to emails.  I'm sent leads instantly to my phone which allows me to get back to them while they're still hot.  I guess like anything else the benefits only come if you utilize the PDA's features.

My calendar is web based and I have a satelite card and I can't see the letters on PDA (old people just feel their way around) so I don't need a PDA

My PDA is wonderful.  I can keep very organized with it.  The calendar on it works very well as it also alerts me of upcoming appointments anywhere from minutes before to days or weeks before.  Keeps me very organized.  Also, my emails, pages and my lockbox is all handled with one device.  It also keeps all of my contacts with me as it syncs with my laptop because my pda is also windows based.  The only negative thing that I can say about it is I would be in big trouble if I ever lost my PDA.  I would lose everything at one time.

I could not live without my Palm Phone.  It has my complete contact list and schedule.  The schedule alone keeps me from missing important appointments.  I could never go back to a day planner.

If you really use them I'm sure they can be great for some folks, personally I tried blackberry and went back to using only my laptop for calendar/email and other things. With wireless internet services available now your laptop can always be connected without the downsides of smart phones. Granted they are bigger but I can truly have it all not just a handicapped version of a computer. my 2 cents....

Thank you for all the responses I have received.

For all whose businesses means always on the run PDA's if used correctly can support you in many ways. I am looking into getting one myself to support my business.
