The 105 foot high Maine lighthouse is being auctioned off by the Federal government.
Built in 1905, automated in 1959, with gps guidance so plentiful, the original use of this granite based Maine lighthouse has changed drastically. No longer is the fog horn, kerosene light used by grounds keepers year ago needed.
