9 Comments on My Fascination With The Ballard Locks Never Ends
Thanks for the photo - I saw the locks years ago when I visited Seattle, and love the Pacific NW!
Hi Carol - I think I have become obsessed with my camera, but I like sharing the area :) You should come back and see us sometime!
Courtney, I agree---it is always a must see place when out of town guests come----and of course it is right next to Stone Gardens the indoor climbing gym :)
I know Stone Gardens hold a very special place in your heart Charlie:)
Courtney,
these are great blogs for local information, where are these floating homes? :) thanks for sharing this info !
Thanks for sharing the pics! I have a condo listing with a fantastic view of Lake Union and Gas Works park. You should sell it for me! I'll give you some Seahawks tickets if you do! =)
Ray - this post is on Ballard, but there are floating homes in Eastlake, Westlake, Portage Bay, U-District, and Norhlake (Fremont & Wallingford).
Jeff - I will check it out!
Very cool photos and interesting 411 on Ballard Locks! That must be so cool to never get bored of your area :)
I'm sure you're never bored looking at these amazing locks in action. There's something both calming and stimulating about locks like these.
