Destination: Something Greater -- Set the goal & keep moving!

Sitting on your bicycle with your helmet wobbling from side to side, you determinedly gazed ahead at the other side. This park wasn’t just a park. No. It was a jungle worth exploring, an epic obstacle course with mountains and rivers you were to cross. You had a goal, and you were determined to reach it, no matter what the obstacles were – real or imagined. You wanted it so badly, even if you fell & cried a few times.

Skip ahead a decade or so, and you’ve graduated from college. You and your friends excitedly jump in your beat down Chevrolet and just start driving. No map. Nothing.

You kept pushing forward to the next city, the next fascinating stop that will leave you wanting more in hopes that the next stop will be even greater than the last. Once the curiosity has subsided and you found yourself bored, you jumped back in the car and kept moving, right?

So why not apply that to your business? Are you conditioning yourself for something new, something goal worthy you’ve never reached or attained before? Are you bored?

Ask yourself: Is it time to take things one step forward? Is it time to set a destination and get there any way you can with the means you have? And even if you don’t have a destination in mind, how about set smaller goals to reach it? Like the road trip, you make those pit stops in your effort to reach that city you are so drawn to – the final destination.

You may run out of gas, hit speed bumps or detours, Keep moving!but you’ll get there. Somehow, someway, because that drive and adrenaline you had is still there. It’s up to you to rekindle it. Sometimes it just takes the initiative, the drive, the motivation and determination to make the decision to keep moving to something better and greater – whether that includes gaining more agents, more clients, more referrals.

Like the park you rode your bike around, in your mind it wasn’t just a park; it was something greater because you made it that way. Make your business something greater -- something you love and take pride in. Imagine it and turn it in to something you’ve always wanted. Boost your sales with new techniques, change your marketing plans, flourish your company.

Form new habits for both yourself and even your staff that will help attain that goal, that destination. What do you need in order to get there? What do you need to learn? What do you need your staff to know? Whatever it is, do it & keep moving!

Zim
Zune and iPod: Most people cpmoare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It's very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.
