With the popularity of texting there aren't too many Americans that don't understand the meanings of "OMG", "BFF" or "LOL". We use them all the time and honestly one has to a admit that they're probably used too often.

But on Saturday I really did laugh out loud and unfortunately right in the face of a new, prospective client.

A friend gave me a call on Saturady morning and said she had referred my name to a friend of hers. Sure enough, about an hour later my phone buzzed and her friend identified herself and said she had found a house on-line and was wondering if I work weekends.

Now maybe you might be an agent who has several assistants and doesn't have to work on weekends, but I'm not and it made me physically laugh out loud.

I explained that yes, I most certainly did and we made arrangements to see the house she had found. By the way, she loved it and I'm meeting her back there with her husband on Thursday morning. I guess I'm glad I, like most of you, work on weekends.

Now don't you wish all your clients were like that.  Choosing one house to see and making a quick decision on it sure makes working on the weekend worth your while.

LOL - My business partner's aunt required an LOL intervention.  Apparently, she thought it meant "lots of love" and was using it in the most disturbing of ways...

"I heard your ____ died.  LOL" 

"I'm sorry that your son is in the penitentiary for ______. LOL" 

"My brother told me you lost your job.  LOL" 

Can you imagine?!  Her way, it made sense.  Our way, it just seemed mean!  Totally off the point of your post, but I thought that might just make you laugh out loud!  :)

"LOL" means either "Lots Of Love" or Laugh Out Loud."

Yes, I am also avaliable same as other realtors to serve my real estate client any day of the week. LOL.
