Pinecrest is one of the wealthiest suburbs in South Florida.  During the 1950s and 1960s the area flourished with the development and construction of ranch-style houses on 1 acre lots which laid the foundation for the community's rural and lushly landscaped residential character.  These one acre lots were transformed into some of the most stately residences in Miami.   Pinecrest is home to many celebrities and prominent families in the area.

Pinecrest is served by the Dade County Public School system and iknown for its A Schools, particularly Pinecrest Elementary, Palmetto Middle and High Schools. The Village of Pinecrest was officially incorporated on March 12, 1996 and adopted the name "Pinecrest" from the Pinecrest Elementary School.

Monica--Looks like the numbers aren't too far off from last year at this time...Slightly higher inventory but over all good. If the rest of the country had those same statistics we all would be very happy.

Teri - Yes, so far so good. for Pinecrest..  The country needs something to turn things around.  Hopefully interest rates will come down enough to encourage buyers to make their move.   Think positive.
