Keep in mind that real estate markets are local in nature and there will be micro markets in every town.  Alamo experienced a moderate drop in average home price from the first seven months of last year which may be due to a greater number of homes sold this year with a lower price point.  The good news is that there was a sharp increase in homes sold and a reduction in the days on market compared to last year.
