365 Things to do in Bend OR - Deschutes Brewery - Twilight 5K Run / Walk for Great Beer & a Great Cause!

Looking for something to do in Bend Thursday evening? Why not try out the Deschutes Brewery Twilight 5K Run Walk through the Old Mill District of Bend, OR. As a not so avid runner but one who enjoys the support I can get behind the evening start time. Especially one that ends with music and beer.

Not a beer fan? Then run or walk for a good cause! The Deschutes Brewery Twilight 5k Run / Walk is a charity event. All proceeds go to benefit the Ronald McDonald house of Central Oregon.

The race course will take runners and walker on an all paved course through the Old Mill District then finishes with an after party hosted of course by Deschutes Brewery. Here's what the Deschutes Brewery website has to say about the festivities:

"After crossing the finishing line, treat yourself to a beer garden featuring Deschutes Brewery’s Twilight Summer Ale, great post race food, and some music to shake your booty to if you have any energy left. The race will also kick off the Bend Brewfest."
