Motivational Power Quote

Make a Lasting First Impression

"Never forget with every new customer,

you have only one chance . . . just one,

to make a first impression.

Plan it, make it all it can be;

create a wonderful memory

and you'll create a

customer for life."

Mac Anderson, founder of Simple Truth & Successories

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Make a lasting first impression

The first several seconds of meeting a customer for the first time becomes critical. Within those several seconds the customer will make a decision that will either make or break the relationship.

In meeting a customer for the first time they will make a subconscious decision within the few several seconds if the like us or will consider doing business with us. If the answer to either one of the questions is no, there will be no business relationship.

Our first impression is a lasting impression with the customers we meet. Within several seconds they will determine if there will be a business relationship or just a short conversation.

A first impression will either open a door of opportunity for us or that door will remain closed to us.

Be prepared to make a great first impression and wow the customer with the goal of establishing a successful business relationship.

We have one only opportunity to make a lasting first impression and we will either make it or lose it within several seconds of meeting a customer.

Lou - I often smile about the idea of "first impression" because if it's the wrong kind it may very well be the "last impression" as well.  Thanks for the guidance and encouragement.

Sound advice.  We forget sometimes that alot of what we do is summed up in 6 seconds or less from our first impression.

First impressions are so important... and one must keep this in mind when meeting people.. sometimes we talk to much and don't listen!  If we wait to hear what the other person has to say, then we can respond directly to what THEY are interested in hearing.

Lou, it is so fascinating to me that literally within 10 seconds or less of meeting someone they know whether or not they want to do business with you.

Lou - First impressions are just as important than last impressions.  Great quote!

Fabulous quote.  Too many people overestimate the importance of that first impression - you never get a second chance to make that first impression.
