Discover space at the Mid America Museum, as they feature "Astronomy: It's a Blast!", now through September 26, 2010. You can launch an air-powered rocket and find out how high the space shuttle flies then test your skills by landing the space shuttle on a runway. Visitors will also discover how thin the Earth's atmosphere is by comparing terrestrial distances to the altitudes of different layers of the atmosphere. Mid America Museum is a designed to stimulate interest in science, to promote public understanding of the sciences, and to encourage life-long science education through interactive exhibits and programs. Jay- I agree with the hot temps outside, the indoor events are the ones to be at!

Charles- I will be there with bells on! Ready for some motivation!

Ted- The air is about as hot or hotter than the water right now- we have been in the trible digits for about 2 weeks now! Need a cold front!
