On July 28, 2007 I was on a family reunion camping trip & "broke my leg". It was horrible & so painful. After going to the emergency room & three doctors visits, one of four of the doctors thought I broke it. The others thought I had just a yucky soft tissue injury. As a realtor, there is no time for lounging around, especially in this market. After the first week & a half, I jumped back into working probably faster than if I had just got back from vacation. I had three listing presentations the following week & one set up for last week.
I work for an amazing company, Keller Williams Realty. All my co-workers have been extremely helpful. They would put flyers at my Tracy listings. They would check on my homes for sale in Tracy to make sure my signs were up & that the properties were doing okay. I am a mentor to new agents at Keller Williams & one of my mentees has been picking me up for these listing presentations and taking me to them to be an observer & help me out. I am very grateful & my current clients plus future clients will benefit. He has helped keep me on track & been a fly on the wall to give me feedback on what I can do better & what I am doing great.
I would never recommend injuring yourself to get all this support, but if you did, being at Keller Williams will help you tremendously. The type of real estate agents this company attracts is where I want to be. Thank you to all who have helped out.
