Florida Real Estate Flippers & Investors are Helping Our Real Estate Market
Back in the mid-2000's, Florida's real estate market was teeming with investors and hopefull flippers. Were they a cause of the over inflation of home prices? Yes, they were part of the market over stimulation. But, so were the banks and everyone eager to make money!
Now, in 2010, we see an unending supply of foreclosures and short sales. Are the flippers part of the problem. NO! In my opinion, they are part of the solution. They are helping by buying the short sales and foreclosures, doing repairs or whatever is needed, and then reselling them. I see nothing wrong here. If it weren't for the investors coming back to the Florida market place, we'd be in much worse condition. Do you see the banks being part of the solution. NO. They are making it more and more difficult to qualify for a loan. Investors and flippers pay cash so most don't need the banks! The banks need to be part of the solution - when are they going to "get it"!
What's the answer? I say, bring on the flipper investors. Buy, Buy, Buy and help Floridians get out of their jungle of short sales, foreclosures and underwater homes. And, while you're at it, make some money for yourself, you deserve to make a profit.
