With all the hype in the press of Las Vegas and Henderson NV being amongst the top foreclosure areas in the U.S. - buyers looking for a foreclosure in Anthem Country Club have 2 to choose from under $500k as of this writing. It is difficult to explain to buyers that blanket statements about the sad state of Las Vegas real estate do not apply to certain market segments. Since Anthem Country Club is one of the most appealing places to live in the Las Vegas valley - offering beautiful tree lined streets, a top notch amenity package, fabulous community pool, tennis, retaurants, golf, and fitness center, it is not that easy to get that smoking deal that buyers imagine they would in this much sought after community.

Pockets of foreclosed homes, simply do not exist in this community. It is one of the most stable in Henderson NV real estate. I receive calls asking for a 4 bedroom, 3 car garage, single level home, in over 3000 sq. ft. for $400k.  Doable ? - possibly for the patient - likely?  Not at this time.
