Anglers throughout the southeast are starting to learn about Perry, GA. A new Public Fishing Area, called Flat Creek opened up last year and has been a hit with fishing enthusiasts from all backgrounds.
Flat Creek PFA features a 108 acre lake stocked with large mouth bass, bluegill bream, channel catfish and sunfish. The area also has boat ramps, parking, restrooms and fish cleaning stations. Eventually, Flat Creek will have docks to fish from and picnic areas. It will also be part of an estimated 800 acre state park.
